Things I saw this weekend....
This is all about things I saw this weekend...and sadly, I did not take pictures of most of them.....
Twins that had to be 70 if they were a day....they dressed alike, their hair was styled alike, they had the same jewelry, shoes, hair clips, glasses...everything. It was crazy.
A downpour that created a flood around our car. We were getting ready to go wade out to try to save it. It was freakish.
An Eastern Shore delicacy called "fried dogs ears". Doesnt sound appetizing, but...basically dough fried and rolled in powdered sugar and honey.... amazingly delicious!
A cookout at a funeral home. That just makes me kinda sick. I don't know why. There is something about a funeral home that doesnt shout "wow, I'm hungry! let's eat!" to me!
We had pizza, and the server told us that their new sauce was "more robustier" than their old sauce! Wow! A new word for me!
Most importantly, and most excitingly, I saw this guy who had recently been to the "Greatest Show on Earth"
:
Have I mentioned how much I adore him?
Hope the week is as interesting as the weekend!
peace.....

hhhmm....how many points could i get for "robustier" ...maybe if the "b" were on a triple word or double letter.....
p.s. be sure to wish the revjeffrey happy birthday today!!!
ryc: ooooh, that sounds so tempting...how much are flights to dc?
and why is it that i always get that offer from people who live too far away to take them up on it??
The cookout at the funeral home made me laugh. I have to agree with you there.
Actually, Tom is taking his cat to Annie in NC in a few weeks. My husband says three cats here is the limit, so little sister is coming to the rescue for Molly Boots. We are all wondering how Marilla will react to this, since she isn't the friendliest to other cats, and having another adult female move in will NOT please Her Royal Highness. But Annie and her roommate are moving into a townhouse this weekend, so hopefully moving both cats into the place at near the same time will help ease the adjustment.
I must post the story of Tom's latest rescue attempt. . .
Thanks for the gift... WE are going to be celebrating homelessness in two and a half days!
I miss you.
I MISS YOU!!!!!
