Well, it has been a long time. I am still unemployed....blech. But God is in control, and I know something is just around the corner for me. In the meantime, we went on vacation to our favorite zoo, and I thought I would share some pictures! Here ya go!
A baby raccoon
A baby coyote
The horse liked the food that we had
A 65lb Burmese Python
His name was Fred
I was so excited to hold him, I could barely contain myself....seriously. My dream! So we had a fun day. It was a nice break from looking for a job. I love playing with God's creatures. I want to go back!
peace....

hehe. I love snakes too!
When we went on a youth camp in Japan, there was a snake crawling along the side of one of the outdoor hallways of the main building. i started going up to it to take a picture and some of the people grabbed and pulled me back...it was one of only two poisonous creatures in Japan, the Mamushi snake...it's deadly. But, I was still transfixed on it as it slithered away from us.
Years ago, when I worked at a children's camp in CA, I used to enjoy catching gopher snakes for the weekly "critter race." My other favorite was the rosy boa--they are always easygoing. I always love your zoo photos.
Patience has got to be one of the hardest lessons God teaches us, and I suppose the lessons are only effective because the things waited for are usually the hardest possible to wait for. I miss your blogs, but I don't write all that often anymore either!
